international – ETHICS OF CONVOCATION CEREMONIES

The Convocation Ceremony is an official ceremony, graduates and parents/guests must comply with the following:

• Be in your seat in the Chancellor’s Hall at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins.

• Always be in your seat during the convocation ceremony. Please go to toilet before or after the ceremony or during breaks.

• Graduates and parents/guests are kindly asked to respect the convocation ceremony. The use of mobile phones are PROHIBITED during the ceremony. Please turn off your handphone or put in silent mode.

• Professional photographers will take photo of the graduates on stage during the Convocation Ceremony. Parents/guests can take photo using camera or mobile phone or video camera from their respective seats only. No movement is allowed.

• Please follow the instructions given by the staff from time to time.
